DAY ONE:
From Los Angeles
First stop: Breakfast in Montecito at Merci located in the Montecito Country Mart
Take the beautiful scenic backroads- Route 192 to Route 154 to Santa Ynez Valley.
Second stop: Sunstone Vineyards and Winery
Third stop: Lunch at S.Y. Kitchen in downtown Santa Ynez
Make your way back to route 154 to Foxen Canyon Rd. The most amazing drive from Los Olivos to Santa Maria! You can just drive half and still feel the lush beauty of the countryside and vineyards. 14 wineries are located along the trail.
Fourth stop: Zaca Mesa Winery
Fifth stop: Last wine tasting with sunset views of vineyards at Fess Parker Winery and Vineyard.
Sixth stop: Cocktails and bites at Mad & Vin at The Landsby Hotel i n Solvang
Seventh stop: Dinner at The Hitching Post 2 in Buellton (just because we love the movie Sideways!)
Back to the hotel in Solvang...Good Night!
DAY TWO:
Drive to Los Alamos
First stop: Breakfast at Norman at the Skyview Hotel in Los Alamos (mid-century Palm Spring vibes
Second stop: Wine tasting at Bodega Los Alamos (so cute) then off for antique shopping in the area. Don’t forget to peak in at the 1880 Union Hotel and Saloon.
Third stop: A must! Bob’s Well Bread Bakery for pastries and bread to go!
Fourth stop: Lunch at Sides Hardware and Shoes in Los Olivos
MAYBE Fifth stop: more wine tasting in many of the wine tasting rooms along the street.
Back on the 101 Frwy with ocean views to Los Angeles!
Best time to go I think is February!
